Our Sources

All photographs are sourced from the public domain collections of the State Library of New South Wales (www.sl.nsw.gov.au) and State Library Victoria (www.slv.vic.gov.au). These images are part of Australia's cultural heritage and are free from copyright restrictions.

We acknowledge both libraries and the original creators of these works, including the Rose Stereograph Co. and other photographers who documented Australian coastal life in the 1930s–50s.

Our Curation

We carefully select high-resolution archival photographs that capture the authentic character of Australian beach culture. Each image is assessed for historical significance, visual quality, and print suitability before being added to our collection.

Preservation Through Print

By offering these images as museum-quality archival prints, we help preserve and share Australia's coastal heritage. Each print is produced on premium archival paper designed to last generations.

Image Quality Standards

We only work with images that meet our strict resolution requirements (300+ DPI at print size) to ensure every detail of these historical photographs is faithfully reproduced.

Acknowledgment
